A class

Chronicle of a class.

Before the class began, there were 5 of us classmates (I won't name them so I don't get it wrong). A young woman walked into the classroom, could it be one of my classmates who found the elixir of youth, but no (what a fright), she was a student who'd come to sit in on the class. Once I recovered from the fright another one appeared, but by then I was already cured of shock.

The teacher arrived, and surprise, a handsome young man showed up too, that was really the last straw. They had only come as observers. The class began. «Girls, did you bring your homework?» (the teacher's soft voice). Raquel jumped in, that name I won't forget, «The instructions weren't clear and that's why the work I did wasn't right», she said; other students agreed, several were speaking their opinions at the same time, and all I heard was milk, shoes, house, etc., etc. The teacher explained the storytelling method and handed out some sheets, for us to make comparisons. We worked in pairs. The young men didn't work, they're lazybones, sorry, they're OBSERVERS.

Afterward they gave us the assignment (homework). We had to copy down the letters from car license plates and form sentences, one word for each letter and to top it off, it had to make sense. What chaos! Since I don't scare easily, I grabbed a pen, a little notebook and went out to find parked cars. I started writing things down and a man yelled at me «What are you doing? Today's Sunday». I answer, I'm doing my duty. I can't write what he said to me, I'm a polite woman, but patiently I explained to him what it was about, and he answered «To each his own madness», I burst out laughing and he realized I'd been pulling his leg.

Sorry, I was in the middle of the chronicle, where was I? Ah, right, the class ended because I ran out of paper.
