The Music

Elsa and Abel had always lived in houses, in a neighborhood, but when they decided to share their lives they had to settle for going to live in a two-room apartment, it saved them time and money. They were afraid because everyone who lived under those conditions complained, you can't listen to the radio, or the TV, or music. Everything is annoying noise. They thought, we work all day and at night we only listen to classical music, we'll adapt. We're not going to have get-togethers, whichever one we celebrate we'll do at the family house.
That day, when Abel stopped by the shop where he always bought his classical records, the salesman, the owner's son, who knew him well, stopped him and said, "I have something for you. I want you to listen to it, it came in today in a batch of used records, who knows whose they were, you play it in the shop to see what condition they're in. Today when I heard this record I thought of you right away." "Look, this month I don't have a peso, don't tempt me." "Sorry, I'm only asking you to listen to it and give me your opinion, I don't recognize either the performer or the piece." Abel went into the little booth, where you listen to the record you want to buy, to make sure it has no flaws, on the way out he said, "hold it for me for next month." "Take it with you, you'll pay me when you can."
Abel got home without saying anything, put on the record, Elsa came out of the kitchen "who is this marvel, you know we can't spend money this month." "I'm not paying for it, I pay when I can, he gave it to me so I could find out who the violinist is or who wrote this marvel." They had dinner and as they were finishing the apartment doorbell rang, Elsa, "don't open it, it could be thieves, how did they get in, who let them in?" Abel put on the chain and looked, "it's a young man in pajamas, I don't think a thief would go around the street like that," he opened the door.
The young man introduced himself, I'm the person who lives right below your apartment and I enjoy your music every night. But tonight that violin made me come up to ask you the musician's name because I'm a violinist myself, you never hear me, I practice during the day.
Together they searched the record, but it was a homemade recording and had no information on it. So, through the music that brought them together, a friendship was forged that lasted a lifetime, and their children remained forever bound by their love of music.
