It was a typical family

It was a typical family, father, mother and 2 children, a girl and a boy. They went on summer vacation to the south, they rented a cabin in El Bolsón. When they arrived the parents were very tired. The father went to rest, the mother began putting the cabin in order and the kids decided to go explore the place, which was normal at their age, 9 and 11 respectively.

They asked their parents' permission and the father recommended: «Don't forget your phones, if there's any trouble call, don't go too far, the phones are charged».

«Yes, dad, everything's fine.»

They went out happy and went into a beautiful forest, they thought that if they took photographs they could find their way back. Little by little they realized they couldn't take any more photographs, it was getting dark, they thought it was because of how many trees there were, but no. They started trying to find the way back, but the darkness took over and all the trees looked the same, desperate they tried to call their parents but the phone had no signal, the night brought with it a change in temperature, distressed they sat down next to each other so as not to feel so cold, the little boy Juancito tried to cheer up Elsita, he was the braver one, but she cried and he didn't know what to do and told her: our parents will come looking for us.

Back at the cabin they were desperate over how long the kids were taking and not being able to reach them by phone, they couldn't understand why they weren't answering. They went to the patrol and explained the situation. That's when they learned there's no signal in the forest and the patrol offered to help search for them.

After 2 hours going through the forest with flashlights and dogs they managed to find them. There they learned that modern things aren't always a guarantee of safety, you have to take more precautions when you go far from familiar places.
