I dream

I dream of a garden full of flowers, of a library full of books, a street full of people, hurried, some smiling, others with a sour look, but all of them looking for the same thing, HAPPINESS, who is a very restless lady, who comes, who goes, who hides, who moves away, who draws near, she's not easy to catch. People look for her by different roads: some by the road of money but when they get it, they realize they didn't find what they were looking for, happiness.
Others try the road of love, that one can't fail but it comes hooked to pain, frustration, disappointment, and other troubles that cloud happiness.
Others look for her by the road of power, but that one is fleeting and along the way lies disillusion, misunderstanding, but happiness in these cases is a mirage that only lasts as long as the power lasts. Someone shakes me, get up it's late there's a lot to do, I snap awake and like the poet I say "dreams are just dreams" and happiness too is a dream.
